Voting opens for the ONA 2013 Board of Directors
SAN FRANCISCO — Voting for the 2013 Board of Directors for the Online News Association opened Sept. 22 as the world’s largest digital journalism organization celebrated its sold-out annual conference.
Elections once again opened during the 2012 Online News Association Conference & Awards Banquet. Candidates addressed attendees in a streamed session, “Decision 2013: Lightning Round,” a series of three-minute presentations Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2:15 p.m. PT, and answered live questions and tweets curated by Steve Buttry, Digital First Media. They are also encouraged to use the social networking tools at their disposal during the three-week voting period to tell voters how they will help ONA move forward.
