Help plan ONA12: Vote for your favorite sessions

By on March 21, 2012

Over the past month, members of the digital journalism community have submitted 229 session proposals for the Online News Association’s 2012 Conference and Online Journalism Awards Banquet, Sept. 20-22, in San Francisco.

Now it’s time to vote for your favorites.

Using our Session Selector, you can help decide which sessions will be presented at ONA12. And you don’t have to be an ONA member or even plan to attend ONA12 to participate.

To vote on ONA12 session proposals:

  • Create a Reddit account.
  • Review the session ideas at the Reddit community we’ve set up.
  • Upvote those sessions you’d like to see at ONA12; you also have the option of downvoting sessions you believe wouldn’t contribute to the conference program.
  • Post comments on session ideas, if you like.

For more information, check out the Session Selector FAQ.

Votes will guide the decision-making process for the ONA12 program committee and ONA staff, who will finalize all conference programming.

We look forward to seeing your choices.

Cheers,
David Cohn, Programming Chair
