Advice for women navigating the digital newsroom

In honor of the Women’s Leadership Accelerator applications opening, we’re revisiting this session from ONA17 titled Wonder Women, Unite! Navigating the Digital Workplace. Featuring the Washington Post’s Kat Downs, ESPN’s Latoya Peterson, ProPublica’s Ariana Tobin and American University’s Amy Eisman, this session included candid discussion and tips for tackling challenges.

Do we need a Bechdel test for news?

This keynote from ONA16 also has lots of food for thought about women (or lack thereof) in leadership. Watch ESSENCE’s Vanessa K De Luca, Entrepreneur and Digital Media Strategist Lisa Stone, Define American’s Jose Antonio Vargas and Public Radio International’s Alisa Miller discuss inclusivity in the media
