Fighting misinformation at the global level
 ICYMI: The Global Council to Build Trust in Media and Fight Misinformation launched last week at the International Journalism Festival. ONA joins as a founding partner along with the Ethical Journalism Network, European Broadcasting Union, Global Editors Network (GEN), Global Forum for Media Development and the World Editors Forum within the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA). Up to $35,000 for local news collaboration
 The deadline to apply for the Challenge Fund for Innovation in Journalism Education is May 3. This fund supports journalism educators, students and local news professionals to collaborate and experiment with new ways to provide information to their communities. We will award grants of up to $35,000 for experiments that focus on one of four themes: community engagement and civic participation, diversity, technology and building trust. Submit an application.
