From the archives: Celebrating contributions to journalism
We are sharing resources from the ONA archives throughout 2019, as we celebrate 20 years of inspiring innovation and excellence in digital journalism.
 Launched in 2000, the Online Journalism Awards (OJAs) are the only comprehensive set of journalism prizes honoring excellence in digital journalism around the world. In 2004, the committee introduced the Rich Jaroslovsky Founder Award. This award honors an individual whose contributions have significantly advanced digital journalism and reflects ONA’s values and ethics. Dianne Lynch, ONA’s founding Executive Director and now President of Stephens College, was the first honoree.
