We’re announcing recipients of the special Online Journalism Awards categories every Tuesday this month at 1 p.m. ET, complete with acceptance speeches and lots of fanfare. Join us on our YouTube channel as we celebrate this year’s honorees:
- Sept. 22: James Foley Award for Conflict Reporting – This award recognizes a digital journalist who produces excellent reporting under the most challenging conditions, covering war, corruption, crime, culture and politics in countries around the world.
- Sept. 29: ONA Community Award – This award honors a person or small team in online journalism that has made outsize contributions to the field, particularly those who create tools or work environments that allow digital journalists to do their best work

Women entrepreneurs on energizing the industry
We’re closing out our Women’s Leadership Accelerator: Summer Series with a final talk on Women in Entrepreneurship this Thursday, Sept. 17. Our speakers are women who know a thing or two about launching a business and making an impact:
