Excellence in Olympics and Paralympics coverage

New this year, the Online Journalism Awards (#OJA22) feature a category for Topical Reporting: Olympics and Paralympics Coverage, which honors excellence in digital coverage for the 2021 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games and the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympics Games.

Congratulations to the finalists, The Washington Post for Future of the summer games and The Globe and Mail for Olympics visual portfolio. During the finalist selection process, judges weighed the overall quality of the journalism, digital production and design and engagement and delivery strategy. 

Explore the 2022 finalists across all categories. Winners will be announced during the Online News Association’s annual conference (Sept. 21–24 in Los Angeles).
