Digital journalism leaders gathered for four days of learning and networking at the 2022 Online News Association Conference (ONA22), held Sept. 21-24 in Los Angeles and online.
Attendees shared their expertise and found inspiration from each other through dozens of interactive sessions in five areas: audience development and metrics; emerging technology; innovative news storytelling; leadership and culture; and product and revenue strategies. Explore some of the resources from our time at ONA22.
Resources from learning sessions
The ONA22 conference pass provides access to session recordings for on-demand learning on the event platform through December 2022. Video recordings are available for sessions that were streamed live during the conference week. We provide audio recordings for the majority of the rest of the sessions. View a full list of available resources.
Automated captioning and transcript services are reasonably accurate, but often miss names and other proper nouns. If you need a transcript or caption “cleaned up” for clarity, please let us know. You can reach us at support@journalists.org. We will do our best to turn that around in 48 business hours.
If you attended ONA22, log back into the event platform with the same email address you used to register. If you missed the conference, purchase a virtual-only pass to access to the recordings. Passes are $250 for ONA members and $425 for non-members.
ONA on Air, Season 3
The volunteer ONA22 Audio Team produced a third season of the ONA on Air podcast. Binge-listen all episodes to catch up on trending conversations and other inspiration from the conference.
