Newsletter Professionals Meetup series
This year, ONA will be hosting a series of participatory idea swaps for newsletter professionals.
These events are designed for newsletter editors, producers, product leaders and anyone thinking of starting a newsletter product. If you’re looking for inspiration, or want to improve an existing newsletter, these meetups are for you.
Each event is formatted so that participants can meet with others working on newsletter strategy and share ideas in a series of fast-paced breakout discussions. Bring some suggestions and leave with a bunch of new ideas and new connections.
The series consists of the following sessions:

ONA Career Day is tomorrow!
ONA Career Day is tomorrow, March 9, 12-5 p.m. EST! This free virtual event features live and asynchronous networking with recruiters and fellowship program representatives from The Marshall Project, The Associated Press, Washington Post, Hearst Newspapers, Houston Landing and more.
We’ll also have:
- Live career development learning sessions such as “Layoff-Proof Your Career” with career coach Phoebe Gavin and “Understanding Your Career Path to Know Your Worth” with Leonor Ayala Polley and Sonali Kohli from URL Media

- Other live and on-demand resources
Spend all five hours with us or stop by to just browse and connect with organizations that interest you. You must register by 11:59 p.m. EST on March 9 to participate and have access to programming and networking. The on-demand resources will be available through April 8, so even if you’re not available on March 9, we encourage you to register so you can access the platform!
It’s also not too late to submit to the Resume Drop! Recruiters and program leaders will use this database to schedule interviews and conversations with potential candidates.
