Advocating for detained journalists
Last week, ONA and other major journalism organizations co-signed a letter to President Joe Biden from the National Press Club. The letter calls on the Biden administration to prioritize reporters taken hostage by state actors and unjustly detained, such as Evan Gershkovich of the Wall Street Journal and journalist Austin Tice.
