Join us at NPR headquarters for a special ONADC networking and panel event!

Daily news is a burgeoning, high-profile space in podcasting today and while NPR has been producing fresh digital audio for years, launching, sustaining and iterating on a daily podcast is an art. ONA and NPR bring you a discussion around the immense value of daily podcasts to NPR, what opportunities are in habitual listening and what it takes to launch and grow a daily show, like Up First or Short Wave, the newest podcast from NPR.

We will be hearing from:

Madeline K. Sofia, Host of Short Wave
Kenya Young, Executive Producer of Morning Edition
Neal Carruth, Senior Director, On-Demand News Programming

Schedule:

6 PM: Doors open

6 PM-7 PM: Networking and happy hour (Snacks and drink available)

7:15 PM: Panel begins

8 PM: Panel ends

Note: Please arrive on time. Due to a limited amount of space and expected demand, we will begin giving any unclaimed spots to individuals on the waitlist at 7:05pm.
