These professional mentors were chosen as volunteers to work with the Student Newsroom, which immerses undergraduate and graduate college students in a digital media environment by providing hands-on experience during the three-day Online News Association Conference & Awards Banquet. The Student Newsroom immerses undergraduate and graduate college students in a digital media environment by providing hands-on experience during the ONA Conference. HBCU Digital Media Fellows
Students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) receive hands-on experience during the ONA Conference, with funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Read more about the program.
