Stijn is Humanitarian Advisor at Internews, an international non-profit focused on media and information. Internews works to ensure that a free flow of trusted information empowers people to make informed decisions about their lives and their futures. Internews Humanitarian Communication Projects support local media to enable people in the midst of a disaster to take an active role in their own survival and recovery. Stijn has recently worked on media and information projects surrounding the Ebola outbreak in Liberia and Guinea, the 2015 Nepal earthquake, and the current refugee crises throughout Europe.
