There’s audio backed up on Soundcloud, video archives, Storify curations and 37,178 tweets (and counting) documenting the panels and discussions at ONA13. It’s not exactly an underreported topic.

But as CoJo founder Dan Carino said, “We need more comics. Always.”

“The whole idea of comics journalism–it can be very powerful because people are drawn in by something that looks different from just the printed page or a live-action video,” political animator Mark Fiore said.

“It’s got a different feel. In a way, that’s why ‘The Simpsons’ has been on forever and ever, besides great writing. It’s fun to look at.”

In that spirit, here’s an illustrated guide to ONA13.
