The elevators at the Sheraton in downtown New Orleans have left more than a few folks at ONA19 scratching their heads. ONA Newsroom’s own Josh Axelrod demonstrates how the elevators work. While the elevators have signs instructing folks to press in their floor number and then go the elevator displayed but many remain confused. In this video, a couple of us walk you through the most frustrating situations and offer this how-to guide.

It’s simple: The buttons are outside the elevators. First you have to press the number of the floor you’re going to and then head to the car that appears on the screen. Do it quickly because the elevator doors close fast.

Pro Tip: If you press the star button (*), that takes you to the lobby.
