Twenty years later, he is the kitchen supervisor at the pizzeria\u2019s Gold Coast location, which opened three years ago. Sanchez makes his deep-dish pizza with the original recipe passed down through the family business and first made famous by Chicago\u2019s first deep-dish eatery Pizzeria Uno in 1943.<\/p>\n<p>Watch this short video below for a behind-the-scenes look of what goes into making an authentic Chicago deep-dish pizza.
