Kim is the Director of Product focused on reader experience at Hearst Newspapers. Previously, she led product strategy for CalMatters, a nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom committed to explaining California policy and politics. Kim has also served as Product Director and Managing Editor, Audience and Innovation, at The Philadelphia Inquirer, during a historical time of digital transformation for the company. She's held editorial and product roles at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, CBS News and Bloomberg, and has spent the past twenty years leading large strategic projects and supporting digital transformation in the media, entertainment, telecom, and financial industries. Kim graduated from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where she earned an MBA focused on strategic management and digital transformation, and a master’s degree in innovation management and entrepreneurship. She’s also a graduate of the Online News Association’s Women’s Digital Leadership Accelerator. Kim is passionate about travel and has lived and worked in several countries – visiting more than 40 over her career – and is currently enjoying exploring California, which she now calls home.
