Sapna Satagopan is a Sr. Product Director at CalMatters. She draws from her diverse background in strategy, research, and startups to her work, collaborating with editorial, interactive, and revenue team members to make CalMatters the go-to news source for all Californians. Before joining CalMatters, Sapna co-founded Xyza: News for Kids, a digital platform delivering news content to the next generation. Prior to that, Sapna has held roles in strategy, research, and digital products across top agencies in the United States. Sapna was born in India and holds an MBA from UC Davis and a B.A. in Linguistics from San Jose State University.
