Digital journalists working in newsrooms with less than 15 full time employees, and founders or staff working pre-launch of a micro newsroom, are encouraged to apply for ONA’s Micro Newsroom Scholarship. This scholarship provides complimentary registration to attend ONA23: Philadelphia Aug. 23-26 and/or ONA23: Onward Sep. 28-29. Applicants may select one or both events.
Applications will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis at the end of May and June. All applicants will receive notification of their status no later than July 15.
The deadline to apply is June 29, 11:59 p.m. EDT (03:59 UTC).
