Angie is an Associate Professor of Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Media, Communication and Information. She just joined the CU faculty after a decade at American University School of Communication. Her research focuses on representations of race and Other identity in online, print and broadcast news media. Prior to academia, she was a staff writer for The Oregonian, The Hartford Courant, and the Los Angeles Times.
