Ari Saperstein is a multimedia journalist based in Los Angeles. He is a producer at Pineapple Street Media and previously worked at This American Life and KPCC. Ari is the creator of the documentary podcast Blind Landing, named one of The Atlantic’s Best Podcasts of 2021 and winner of the 2023 Ambie Award for Best Independent Podcast. Outside of audio, Ari has written for publications like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vox and The Advocate. He’s been a finalist for the NAEJ Journalist of the Year and the AIPS Young Reporter Award.
