Brian is a documentary producer and director, whose latest project is an investigative news magazine series for Pivot. His award-winning documentaries include The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists, about the online hacktivist non-group Anonymous; Life After War, about political tensions in post-war Afghanistan; and A Murder in Kyiv, about the death of a Ukrainian journalist reportedly at the hands of government officials. Brian has created numerous other documentaries for PBS FRONTLINE/World, National Geographic, Bloomberg News and the Discovery Channel.
