Claire Rischiotto (Rish-auto) was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After her first year of college in Montana, Claire realized constant snow and ice was not for her. So she packed her bags and trusty red bike Rosy and headed down to Eugene where she spent three years studying and then graduating from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. There, she interned for Eugene Weekly and more recently has been a news producer, reporter, anchor and Bike Show host for KBOO-FM Radio. You can find her biking around town on her trusty new bike Betty she purchased a year after being hit by a car or spending time with her family at Portland’s best cafes. Currently, she is also a Communications Intern for Metro Regional Government.
