David is executive mobile editor at The Wall Street Journal. He directs WSJ mobile app news operations and oversees strategy and product development. Ho is the world's most experienced mobile and tablet news app editor and founded the WSJ iPad app in 2010. Equal parts hardcore newsman and lifelong technologist, Ho created and teaches a graduate course on emerging platform journalism at the City University of New York. He's trained more than 2,500 journalists around the world to use mobile tech in their work. As a national reporter for Cox News and The Associated Press, his coverage ranged from the White House, the United Nations and the pope to tech, telecom and terrorism. The U.S. Supreme Court cited his reporting in the historic ruling on the 2000 presidential election. Earlier, Ho served as one of the original Web programmers behind WSJ.com. He also is a Poynter Institute Ethics Fellow.
