Emily Bogle is a photo editor and art director at NPR in Washington, D.C. In 2019, she was the photo editor and a producer for a visual narrative project on climate change and internal displacement in Mongolia. In the previous year, she was the photo editor and art director for a six-part investigative series focusing on sexual assault of people with intellectual disabilities. Emily often collaborates with NPR’s National Desk, working on stories across the country. She is now art directing illustrations and animations for the Invisibilia podcast. NPR’s Instagram account grew 2 million followers in three years under her curation. Emily graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in photojournalism. She is currently enrolled in the Integrated Design Master of Arts program at the University of Baltimore.
