Hank Sims is the editor and lead developer of the Lost Coast Outpost, a tech-forward hyperlocal news website serving the 135,000 residents of Humboldt County, California — a rural region on the state’s North Coast. An alumnus of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, he has written for dozens of California publications, from the Los Angeles Times to the Anderson Valley Advertiser. He lives with his wife and his sons in a seismically unstable old Victorian home in Eureka, California.
