Jacqueline is a senior at the University of Georgia, where she studies journalism, international affairs and French. This summer, she interned on NPR’s business news desk in Washington, D.C. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times and The Current, a nonprofit news source that covers coastal Georgia. She has held multiple roles on the news desk at The Red & Black, UGA’s independent student newspaper, and served as editor-in-chief in fall 2021. Last spring, she studied abroad at Oxford University and took courses in French Literature and Human Rights. Jacqueline is passionate about telling stories and delivering them to people in innovative ways, and aims to report internationally with a specific focus on women’s rights. Jacqueline is from Savannah, Georgia, and loves the coast. When she’s not in a newsroom, she’s usually reading, swimming or going on a walk. She’s been to 20 countries and hopes to travel to many more, and her biggest goal is to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
