
Jennifer Tanaka is the senior editor of digital news for WBEZ, Chicago’s local NPR station. A graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Jennifer is a veteran magazine writer and editor: First at Newsweek magazine, where she covered the acceleration of the internet and the digital technologies that power our world today; then at Chicago magazine, where she edited features and eventually rose to digital executive editor. She holds a master’s degree in human-computer interaction from DePaul University’s College of Computing and Digital Media, a program that opened her eyes to the mind-blowing world of designing delightful interactive experiences for people.
