Jeremy Bowers is a Director of Engineering at the Washington Post, focusing on politics. He is also teaches a class about data journalism in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. Previously, Jeremy was senior editor for news applications on the interactive news desk of the New York Times. Before that, he was a news applications developer on the NPR visuals team, a senior newsroom engineer at the Washington Post, and a news technologist at the St. Petersburg Times, where he contributed code to the Pulitzer Prize-winning PolitiFact.
