Jessica Parks is the Assistant Managing Editor for Digital at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she runs the producer team and the Express Desk. Jessica was a founding editor of the Real-Time Desk and a leader of the newsroom’s Call To Arms Committee, which wrote a 29-page manifesto demanding dramatic changes to force a legacy newsroom into the digital age. In 2017, Jessica participated in the Knight Foundation’s Table Stakes program, launched the Experiments Desk and the Inquirer’s flagship morning newsletter, had a baby, and returned in the role of AME to lead the newsroom through a long-overdue redesign and replatforming.
