Jo Adetunji is Managing Editor of The Conversation UK, a comment and analysis website that publishes articles written by experts from universities via a newsroom of journalists. She is involved in strategic planning for the organisation and oversees management of the newsroom. Before joining The Conversation, Jo was a reporter at The Guardian. She is passionate about supporting journalism that is healthy and thriving, and is a trustee of the Public Interest News Foundation which champions independent publishers. She was recently a panel member of the Cairncross Review into press sustainability in the UK and is a regular volunteer for the NCTJ’s Journalism Diversity Fund. She enjoys getting out and reconnecting with nature.
