Joy Resmovits is the education editor at The Seattle Times, managing a team of journalists covering K-12 through higher education. Part of that work includes Education Lab, a community-funded project that emphasizes solutions and engagement, both digital and in real life. She came to Seattle in 2018 from The Los Angeles Times, where she covered all aspects of schooling. Before that, she spent four years covering national education issues for The Huffington Post as a senior reporter. In the 2014-2015 academic year, she was a Spencer Fellow at Columbia University, and focused on researching education for students with disabilities.
