Kristina is a visual storyteller and artist. She was the second full-time employee in the video department at The New Yorker, where she made dozens of videos and multimedia projects from start to finish. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at ITP, an interdisciplinary arts and technology program within NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is making an interactive documentary facilitating a dialogue around sexual assault. While at ITP, she also made a drone photo booth and freelanced for outlets like Vogue, Makerbot, The Guardian, and BAM. Recently, she launched the private beta of KitSplit, a peer-to-peer platform for creative equipment rentals like cameras and drones that has been covered in Forbes and Fast Company.

Renters can safely and easily rent equipment from vetted locals, while owners can earn on idle equipment. We’re passionate about supporting creators and putting the tools they need in arms’ reach.
