Lauren is connecting NPR digital engagement with local station membership. In the last five years at NPR, Lauren has led digital infrastructure and user engagement projects. On the infrastructure side, her team integrated NPR’s broadcast and digital program production workflows, and in 2014, they launched a modular Identity Service that lets NPR combine and apply user data from logins across platforms. She is presently focused on establishing meaningful relationships between digital users and the member stations in their local communities. In 2015, she was awarded NPR’s Success Award for System Collaboration. Lauren has more than 12 years’ experience in nonprofit marketing, fundraising and technology across the arts, culture and media sectors. In a prior life, she earned an MFA in dance.
