Liz is the founder of Digital Action, a project to counter digital threats to democracy. She has worked for 10 years on issues of data, transparency and governance, in Ireland, the UK and Africa. In 2018 she started the Transparent Referendum Initiative, a partnership of experts and journalists that uncovered disinformation campaigns and attempts at overseas interference during Ireland’s abortion referendum. She is a regular commentator on issues related to data, privacy and democracy in Irish media.
