Rachel Wise is a regional editor and trainer for McClatchy, currently based in Charlotte, N.C. Rachel leads video and audio teams at 10 newsrooms in the Southeast U.S., and develops training curriculum for 30 newsrooms across the country. She enjoys staying nimble — previously she’s worked as a journalism professor, reporter, visual journalist, web producer, copy editor and page designer. In her free time, Rachel enjoys hanging out with dogs, traveling, baking and communing with nature.
