Rebecca is one of the founding editorial voices at Upworthy, and currently a Senior Editor for the site where she works with the editorial team and her team develop rapid-fire responses to important issues of the day, by telling stories built for social sharing. A graduate of Penn State University, she is responsible for bringing more than 50 million readers to stories about about feminism, body image, sexism and pop culture. Previously, she has worked as an intern at BuzzFeed and in her spare time co-created I Spy A Famous Face, a pop culture blog with over 250,000 followers on Tumblr. A self-proclaimed nerd, feminist and pop culture nut, Rebecca hopes to make the world a better place by through thoughtful, empathetic storytelling. Rebecca lives in Baltimore with her cat, who was made famous by New York magazine.
