Robyn is VP/managing editor at The Dallas Morning News. She joined The News in 2015 from the Pew Research Center. At Pew, she was vice president and chief digital officer of the nonpartisan think tank that studies the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. Robyn also served as the founding editor of Digital First Media’s Project Thunderdome in New York City. Prior to that, she spent a decade with the (now-defunct) New York Times Regional Media Group, serving as the company’s director of editorial innovation and as the top editor of three dailies: the StarNews in Wilmington, N.C., the Ocala (Fla.) Star-Banner and the TimesDaily in Florence, Alabama. A graduate of the University of North Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is on the boards of the American Society of News Editors and the National Press Foundation and is co-founder of the ONA chapter in Dallas-Forth Worth.
