Sapna Satagopan is a product director at CalMatters where she draws from her diverse background in strategy, research, and media to her work at CalMatters, where she works with editorial, interactive and product team members to make CalMatters the go to news source for all Californians. Prior to joining CalMatters, Sapna was the co-founder of Xyza: News for Kids, a digital platform delivering news content to the next generation. Prior to that, Sapna has held roles in strategy, research and digital products across top agencies in the United States. Sapna was born in India, and holds an MBA from UC Davis and a B.S in Linguistics from San Jose State University.
