Sharyn Flanagan is City Editor of The Philadelphia Tribune, where she’s worked since 2018. Previously she has been an editor at AP, USA TODAY, Tallahassee Democrat and The Lansdale Reporter. Flanagan served eight years in the Marines and is a native Philadelphian. She is on the boards of ACES: Society for Editing and the Society of Professional Journalists-Keystone. Flanagan is also active in Journalism and Women’s Symposium, National Association of Black Journalists and Toastmasters International.
