Sophie is CEO and co-founder of Neon. She got her PhD in Cognitive Science at Brown University in 2011. She continued to pursue her work on the neural basis of visual preference for everyday objects at Carnegie Mellon University and CMU Silicon Valley, eventually transitioning her research into the foundation of Neon Labs. Neon has been recognized for innovation, winning The Edison Award for Innovation, funded by The National Science Foundation, and featured in The Wall Street Journal, The White House, Forbes, and Dow Jones. Sophie was included in Fast Company’s Most Creative People 2015 list.
