Stephanie Daniel is the senior managing editor and an award-winning reporter at KUNC, NPR for Northern Colorado. She reports on social issues and the barriers people overcome to create a better life for themselves and their families. Stephanie’s work has been recognized with local, regional, and national awards. Her reporting was part of a KUNC series on how COVID-19 impacted Colorado Latinos that won a 2022 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award. Her multimedia series “Hire Me: Educating Colorado’s Changing Workforce” was a finalist for the 2019 Education Writers Association National Awards.
Stephanie is the host of The Colorado Dream podcast from KUNC. In season two she explores the Black immigrant experience in Aurora. The limited-series podcast is told through the eyes of one African immigrant, local leaders, and residents as the city strives to become an inclusive home for all.
