Sue Suh is thrilled to serve as the first Chief People Officer for TIME, and her career also spans philanthropy and public service. Sue is a relentless optimist and passionate about the power of media, education, the performing arts and sports to effect transformational change. She currently sits on the Board of Advisors for Columbia Journalism School’s Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics; outside of media she serves on the Boards of the Classical Theatre of Harlem and Special Olympics Asia Pacific, and recently served on the Board of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. Sue was also honored to be named a 2021 New Yorker for New York by Citizens Committee of New York City and a 2019 Folio:100 member in the C-Suite category. Sue absolutely loved Princeton University (BA) and Columbia University (MA), and was grateful to earn a Fulbright award to South Korea and a Presidential Management Fellowship with the U.S. federal government, where she served in the Departments of State and Defense. She can’t wait to meet you here at ONA21!
