My birthday is June 11, 1996. I was born and raised in Covington, Ga. I graduated from Newton High School in May 2014. I currently attend Savannah State University and I expect to graduate in December 2018. I am currently the president of the Savannah State University student chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Prior to becoming the SSU NABJ president, I served as the Editor-in-Chief of the student publication, The Tiger’s Roar Newspaper from Jan. 2016 until May 2017.
