Your Mental and Digital Health are a Priority

Presented at Dublin17

More from this event →

With so much political unrest across the world, journalists have a difficult time unplugging and taking care of themselves. Our staff are constantly subjected to graphic imagery and online intimidation. We’ll look at vicarious trauma and newsroom burnout, and discuss resources to help you create a healthier environment for both you and your colleagues.

Due to the off-the-record nature of the discussion, this session was not recorded. Presenters provided a recommended reading from the Dart Center, Developing Your Own Standard Operating Procedure for Handling Traumatic Imagery
